Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a supportive and specialized environment as a full-time SLP-CCC, providing essential speech-language therapy for students in an autism program. This contract role spans from May 11 to June 18, filling a key maternity leave position. Serve a caseload of approximately 30-40 students, offering targeted interventions that make a tangible impact in their communication, learning, and daily life skills.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Current state SLP license or eligibility required
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, particularly those on the autism spectrum, highly valued
• Strong collaborative skills to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
• Deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting neurodiverse learners

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 30-40 students in the autism program
• Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialized staff to integrate communication goals across settings
• Consult with families to maximize student success and support carryover outside of school
• Document all sessions, assessments, and communication per district and professional guidelines
• Foster a positive, engaging learning atmosphere designed to empower each student’s strengths
