About the Role:


Snelling Staffing is hiring a Sorter for a leading Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Germantown. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent hours and long-term potential. The Sorter is responsible for inspecting, organizing, and processing materials on a conveyor line to support the recycling process.


Key Responsibilities:

• Sort recyclable materials by type, size, and condition
• Remove contaminants and dispose of waste properly
• Stack boxes and dump totes as needed
• Feed material onto conveyor belts
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and surrounding equipment
• Monitor machine performance and follow safety protocols
• Participate in regular safety and operations meetings
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned
  Requirements:
• Must attend orientation before starting
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 3 months of related work experience (warehouse, general labor, or production)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a loud, dusty, and physically demanding environment
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions
