What You Will Do Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, responds to basic warranty calls, and provides customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies. As a trusted advisor you provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service. How You Will Do It Loads system‑level controller software, performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system‑level controllers to end devices, completes required documentation, keeps management and contractors informed of job progress, calibrates systems with basic electronic test equipment, completes administrative tasks (time sheets, expense reports, on‑site documentation), documents changes for as‑built documentation, communicates with contractors or customers at arrival and departure, follows safety standards, provides recommendations and solutions to ensure efficient facility operation, and provides quotes for recommendations. Requirements 2‑year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or related field, or at least 3 years of industry experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical HVAC systems. Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques. Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls ethically and professionally. Ability to explain technical information to technical and non‑technical audiences and demonstrate leadership skills for supporting mechanics. PC experience and ability to program HVAC‑related software. Hiring Hourly Range : $25–34 per hour, commensurate with education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
