Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists in the home setting
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patients' mobility and function
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety measures for home care
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress
• Collaborate with caregivers to support patients' rehabilitation goals
• Adapt interventions to fit the home environment and individual patient needs

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited PTA program
• Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• CA PTA licensure/certification
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work effectively in a Home Health setting
• Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a Home Health setting
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care

• Pay: $1,639.19 - $1,689.89 / week

• Assignment Length: 39
• Shift: Day - up to 40.00 hours per week
