Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Trial Attorney with a strong background in personal injury litigation and proven first-chair trial experience. This role requires a client-focused professional who can manage cases independently, deliver strategic legal guidance, and achieve favorable outcomes through negotiation and trial advocacy.
Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution
Meet with clients to assess claims, explain legal strategy, and set expectations
Maintain consistent communication with clients and insurance carriers
Evaluate claims and develop effective litigation strategies
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations
Prepare cases for trial, including discovery, depositions, and motions
Serve as first-chair trial counsel in court
Collaborate with legal staff to ensure efficient case handling
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing with the New Jersey Bar
5+ years of personal injury litigation experience
First-chair trial experience
Strong negotiation and case evaluation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and within a team
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
