Learning Center Leader

Description

Join the YMCA and help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

Interested in working with younger children? Opportunities are also available in our Early Learning Centers (infant - age 5)

As a Childcare Leader, you will:

Welcome and supervise children
Lead fun activities including arts and crafts, science projects, gym games and outdoor time
Assist with check in, snack time, homework help, physical activities
Build positive relationships with children and parents/ guardians
Create a safe, supportive learning environment
Be positive role model

Requirements

At least 16 years old

And must also complete:

Within 90 days of hire: 15 hours of basic childcare training through Child Care Aware
Within 90 days of hire: CPR/FA Certification for Adult, Child, Pediatrics
