Senior Software Engineer, Android, XR Camera Experiences

Guide the development and optimization of next-generation Android Glasses applications.Develop robust concurrency models and high-performance, privacy-compliant pipelines for image processing.Establish robust testing, monitoring, and infrastructure frameworks to guarantee exceptional product quality.Drive alignment across cross-product (xPA) and cross-functional (xFN) teams to deliver critical user journeys for milestone dogfoods and launches.Build foundational camera features alongside the Glasses Platform team, resolving low-level system challenges to optimize hardware-software cohesion.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience with software development in Kotlin or C++.3 years of experience with Android application development and Android camera.3 years of experience with image processing.3 years of experience with concurrency.3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with large scale application design and architecture.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.Experience developing accessible technologies.Experience with iOS development .Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
