Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves floating to various medical-surgical and telemetry units, providing high-quality patient care in a busy hospital setting. The RN will be responsible for supporting stroke, cardiac, and neuro patients with a focus on telemetry monitoring, phlebotomy, and IV starts. Job Details: Location: Tallahassee, Florida Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Active Florida RN license (or Compact license), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, at least 2 years of clinical experience, including a minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience, prior travel experience with at least one assignment completed, and ability to float to other Med Surg or Med Surg Telemetry units as needed Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, certification in specialized units or procedures (if applicable) Additional Information: Orientation occurs every Monday, with in-service training on EPIC electronic medical record system required during the second half of the day at orientation. Candidates may be tested out of certain training requirements based on experience. No holiday RTO requests or blocks exceeding 7 days of RTO are permitted, and a 50-mile radius rule for assignments applies to non-local candidates.
