Work Settings : The patient population served can be all patients, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn. This also includes services which affect facility staff, physicians, visitors, vendors and the general public.

Job Description : The Clinical Dietitian works with the health care team and provides medical nutrition therapy and education to patients and residents; assesses nutrition risk, nutritional needs, and recommends appropriate nutrition intervention; provides nutrition education to patients and their families and documents patient’s progress in the medical record; works with Nutrition Services department to ensure patients are receiving appropriate foods for the diet order; and precepts and coordinates learning experiences for dietetic interns

Mandatory Skills/Experience : 

Registered Dietitian required

1+ year experience in acute care setting as a Dietitian required

AHA BLS required
