You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with process engineering, IT, equipment automation, data engineering, and data science teams to develop and deliver high quality control strategies and sophisticated methods of variation prediction, identification, and reduction. Specifically, we need someone to craft models and systems solutions to predict and control future process variation with an end goal of efficiency, process variation reduction and yield improvement. Come join our team of dedicated engineers!Job Responsibilities:Design and implement solutions to reduce process variation and develop systems that automate or simplify process control tasks.Identify process requirements to design and deliver decision logic.Write scripts to extract, shape and filter data for analysis to develop predictive and control models.Extracting data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and apply data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniquesLeveraging AI Agents and Code Assists in project development and daily productivity.Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and partners.Organize tasks for maximum efficiency, incorporating department priorities.Coordinate and thoughtfully facilitate meetings and project teams.Communicate complex analysis in a succinct and impactful manner.Minimum Qualifications:A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, or an equivalent Micron job standing of Engineer or higher is required.1-2 years of exposure to SPC through either academia or direct work experience1-2 years of experience with analytical problem-solving and data analysis skills1-2 years of experience developing, teaching, and presenting technical subjectsPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency in one or more scripting/web development languages a plus (e.g. JMP, Python, Java, JS, TS)Familiarity with Process Control Theory1-2 years semiconductor industry experienceModel Predictive Control (MPC)As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
