Registered Nurse PICU

Shifts are rotating, with night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Candidates need to be flexible to work either shift during their contract.

Assignment Details

Contract length is 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The facility may call off staff 3 times during the assignment.

Requirements

• 1.5 years of experience required
• Current license in the state
• Certifications: BLS, PALS
• Experience with CRRT, ECMO procedures, vents, and inotropic drips
• Ability and willingness to care for 2 intubated patients when necessary

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to NICU and Peds ED as needed

Compliance / Notes

COVID vaccine is optional, but reporting is required. Weekend shifts are required (4 for day shift, 5 for night shift). Approval is needed for time off greater than 7 days. Parking is free.
