Audit Manager

About the Role

As an Audit Manager , you will lead multiple audit and assurance engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You'll work closely with business owners and C-level executives to provide insights that extend beyond the financial statements, including operational improvements, KPI development, risk management, and strategic planning.

You will also play a key role in developing the firm's team, strengthening client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand advisory services.

What You'll Do

• Manage multiple audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, and key client stakeholders.
• Provide strategic and operational insights beyond traditional audit services.
• Identify opportunities to improve client processes, reporting, KPIs, and risk management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop audit staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Manage and strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Help drive process improvements, technology adoption, and greater efficiency across audit engagements.

What We're Looking For

• 5–10 years of public accounting experience , with a strong focus on audit.
• Experience working with non-profit organizations and small-to-mid-sized businesses (SMEs) preferred.
• Active CPA certification required.
• Proven ability to manage complex audit engagements and multiple client relationships.
• Strong leadership experience, including supervising, mentoring, and developing team members.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with business owners and executive-level clients.
• Strong business acumen with a proactive, consultative approach to client service.
