Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Shifts (Days, 8 or 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week) | Call required 1–2 days per week, approximately every 2–3 weekends, including Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology, vascular, and cardiac procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion, and IABP insertion
• Demonstrate and apply specialized nursing skills for patients undergoing cardiac cath and angiography procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring
• Operate and maintain working knowledge of relevant imaging equipment including Siemens systems, as well as Sensis monitoring systems
• Maintain basic understanding of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures as they relate to patient care
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in a 4-person call team on a rotating basis, including weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cardiac catheterization lab
• Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and specialized cath lab skills
• Current BLS certification
• Ability and willingness to take call, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR and Sensis monitoring systems
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment
• Exposure to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine imaging modalities
