We are seeking fully-credentialed education professionals who are ready to step into school-based roles at short notice. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated individuals looking for flexible contract assignments in the Van Nuys area.


To be considered, candidates must be available to start new assignments within just 2-3 days' notice as opportunities arise-including the upcoming new school year. This is an ongoing waitlist; while placement is not immediate or guaranteed, it is ideal for those seeking frequent school-based contract work.


What we're looking for:

• Active paraprofessional credential, ready for immediate placement
• Minimum of 2 full years' experience as a paraprofessional, behavior technician (BT), registered behavior technician (RBT), or a closely related school role
• Demonstrated expertise supporting diverse students with special education needs throughout those two years
• Willingness to work with any age group or caseload as needed
• Flexibility to perform duties that may include toileting and diapering when required
• Strong reliability and punctuality; timesheet completion using sign-in/out sheets is mandatory for payment

Key responsibilities:

• Provide purposeful assistance under the supervision of certified staff in classrooms or 1:1 settings
• Support student learning, behavior plans, and daily care-including mobility, hygiene, and feeding tasks if assigned
• Adapt quickly to varied classroom environments and instructional needs
• Communicate effectively with educators, students, and school administrators
• Accurately track and submit work hours
