Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Role Overview: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehabilitation to patients based on physician referrals, ensuring compliance with laws and standards. Responsibilities Assess, establish, and modify measurable, functional therapy goals Follow treatment plans under supervision (for CFY) or independently (for CCC-certified SLP) Chart accurately and timely, utilizing therapy software effectively Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan patient care Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and adhere to legal and organizational policies Assist in emergency procedures like patient evacuation Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program (MS or MA) ASHA certification (CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Active licensure in the applicable state, maintained throughout employment Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, email; good communication skills Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate professionalism Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with patients, families, and staff Good physical stamina to perform job duties New graduates are encouraged to apply The role emphasizes professionalism, compliance, teamwork, and delivering quality patient care in a supportive environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Proforma Health
