This role partners with business stakeholders and Communications leaders to translate complex messages into engaging video stories, owning content from concept and script development through production, editing, approval, and final delivery. By creating clear, relevant, and impactful content, this role helps employees stay informed, connected, and aligned to Lowe’s broader business and strategic goals.What You Will DoConsults and collaborates with business partners and Communications leaders to understand business needs, recommend effective video content approaches, and support strategic objectives through internal communicationsDevelops video content from concept through final delivery, including concept development, scriptwriting, producing, filming, editing, and preparing content for internal channelsWrites and edits scripts, messaging, and supporting content on behalf of business partners, ensuring content is clear, engaging, and aligned with Lowe’s communications standardsTranslates complex business priorities and messages into compelling video stories and other communications that resonate with employeesCoordinates cross-functional teams to plan and execute video productions and communications projects, including managing timelines, logistics, stakeholders, and deliverablesManages the content review and approval process, working closely with executive leaders and business partners to incorporate feedback, maintain compliance, and ensure the final product achieves the intended communication objectiveDevelops relevant video assets, materials, resources, and tools to support the communication needs of business partnersAssists with the development and execution of Communications processes, procedures, production standards, and style guidelinesPerforms additional responsibilities necessary to successfully complete assigned video and communications projectsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Media Production, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degreeProficiency with Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of HTMLPreferred Skills/Education3 years of experience in communications, video production, content development, or a related fieldExperience producing video content from concept through final delivery, preferably for internal or employee communicationsExperience writing and editing scripts and messaging for a variety of audiences, including executive communicationsExperience working in a corporate communications environment within a large, complex organization, preferably in retailAbout Lowe’sLowe’s Companies, Inc.
