About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location : Brick, NJ Facility : Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule : Per Diem, Day shift What You’ll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Six (6) or more months of nursing experience OR participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required. Telemetry certification is a plus.
