Electrical Engineer
SoloPoint Solutions
Qualifications:
- BSEE/MSEE
- Medical Device (Class II wearable) highly preferred
- Understanding of ISO 13485 requirements
- Experience with Digital circuit designs
- Low power microcontrollers
- Schematic capture
- PCB layout and debugging (Altium)
- Board Bring up and troubleshooting
- Experience with BLE a plus
- Ideal candidate would also have high volume consumer electronic experience ( anyone that comes from a design firm would be a plus)
- Strong Documentation
- Experience in a Lead/Mentorship role
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize digital circuits, ensuring high performance in a compact, battery-powered wearable form factor
- Board-level designs, from initial schematic capture and component selection to PCB layout and prototyping
- Lead the bring-up and debugging of complex PCBA designs. You should be an expert with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
- Navigate the complexities of Class II medical device standards (IEC 60601). You will be responsible for maintaining rigorous documentation to support FDA filings
- Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and industrial design teams
