Are you an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA/EDDA) who loves what you do and takes pride in providing exceptional patient care?

What You'll Do

• Assist dentists during a variety of general and restorative dental procedures.
• Perform expanded dental assisting functions within Florida's permitted scope of practice.
• Place and finish temporary restorations and perform other authorized expanded duties based on your training.
• Take dental X-rays and impressions as permitted by Florida regulations.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control standards.
• Educate patients on procedures, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
• Work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient, positive, and patient-focused environment.

What We're Looking For

• Completion of a qualifying expanded-functions training program recognized by the Florida Board of Dentistry.
• Florida dental radiography qualifications required.
• Previous dental assisting experience, preferably in restorative and general dentistry.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work confidently and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude.
• Dependable, organized, and passionate about patient care.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus.
