Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.\n7+ years of Quality Assurance experience in enterprise applications.\n3+ years of hands-on experience testing Siemens Teamcenter PLM.\nExperience validating Teamcenter modules including workflows, change management, document management, BOM management, and product data management.\nStrong experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.\nExperience creating test plans, test scripts, test cases, and QA documentation.\nExperience testing integrations between Teamcenter and ERP/CAD systems.\nKnowledge of defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, etc.).\nStrong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum environments.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nPrevious experience leading QA teams or acting as a QA Lead.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) experience.\nTeamcenter customization knowledge using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, or RAC.\nExperience testing Teamcenter integrations with SAP, Oracle ERP, Windchill, NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA.\nTest automation experience using Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, or similar tools.\nExperience with Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and cloud deployments.\nPLM domain experience within aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial engineering environments.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.\nExperience supporting global user communities and large-scale enterprise rollouts.\nSiemens Teamcenter certification.\nExperience with performance and load testing tools.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Teamcenter QA Lead to oversee quality assurance efforts for Teamcenter PLM implementations, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades. This individual will lead testing strategy, coordinate QA resources, and ensure the reliability, performance, and functionality of Teamcenter solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Teamcenter PLM, test automation, integration testing, and stakeholder collaboration within engineering and manufacturing environments.\n\nThe Teamcenter QA Lead will work closely with business users, developers, system administrators, and project managers to define test strategies, execute testing activities, and drive continuous quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nResponsibilities\nLead end-to-end QA activities for Teamcenter implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.\nDevelop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test execution schedules.\nCoordinate functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).\nValidate Teamcenter configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.\nTrack, document, and manage defects through resolution.\nSupport release planning and production deployment activities.\nEstablish QA best practices, processes, and testing standards.\nMentor junior QA analysts and coordinate offshore/onshore testing teams when applicable.\nCollaborate with development teams to identify root causes and ensure resolution of issues.\nDevelop QA metrics and provide status reporting to project leadership.\nDrive test automation initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.
