Project Accountant

We are partnering with a well-established, high-growth company to identify a Project Accountant to support large-scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities Process and administer subcontractor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and compliance within the system Prepare and validate all supporting materials required for accurate owner billing requests Monitor project-level financial exposure and confirm adherence to subcontractor insurance and risk requirements Partner with project managers to track job costs, analyze variances, and support ongoing budget reporting Examine certified payroll submissions to ensure they meet applicable regulatory standards Produce and distribute project financial reports while helping field teams interpret key financial data Leverage accounting systems and project management tools to efficiently complete assigned responsibilities Qualifications 4–5+ years of project accounting experience with a general contractor (subcontractor experience may be considered) Experience supporting large-scale construction projects (typically $30M+ ) Strong understanding of subcontractor billing and project cost tracking Experience with Sage and/or Textura preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with project teams Degree is not required Compensation & Benefits Base salary Eligible for performance-based bonus Hybrid work flexibility (1 remote day/week) Collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong leadership support Regular team events, company-wide gatherings, and employee engagement activities Why This Opportunity Join a growing organization with increasing project volume and strong financial performance High visibility role working closely with finance leadership and project teams Supportive environment that values autonomy, professional development, and team culture #J-18808-Ljbffr Andrews & Cole
