Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Dothan, AL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Block scheduling available | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 42-bed Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Monitor and manage patients with high-acuity cardiac and neurovascular conditions
• Identify and respond to dysrhythmias and telemetry changes in a timely manner
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license or compact license in good standing (no pending actions) required at time of submission
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience with high-acuity patients
• Demonstrated experience with dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Experience administering cardiac drips (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Prior experience working in large healthcare facilities
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a Med-Surg or step-down setting
