Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, ongoing care to patients of all ages, spanning pediatric to geriatric needs.
- Manage chronic illnesses, preventive care measures, acute health issues, and mental health with a focus on patient-centered approaches.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, analyze diagnostic tests, and formulate individualized treatment strategies.
- Work closely with care coordinators, mental health professionals, and specialty providers for optimal holistic care delivery.
- Engage in quality improvement efforts aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and operational effectiveness.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain precise and current patient documentation.
- Deliver care through in-person visits and telehealth services to best meet the diverse needs of patients.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical institution.
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by ACGME.
- Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Eligible for (or possess) an active Virginia medical license.
- Preferred certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong diagnostic and clinical abilities with a keen focus on preventive healthcare.
- Experience with value-based care models coupled with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Familiarity with EMRs and telehealth platforms.
