Key responsibilities for the CCO include establishing and maintaining loan policies, underwriting standards, and internal controls to support strategic growth while safeguarding asset quality. The role also involves overseeing portfolio monitoring, managing special assets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate will be a change leader, capable of driving process improvements and shaping the company's credit strategy. They should be a warm, high-EQ people leader, adept at building and developing a high-performing credit risk management team.
