Instructional Designer

Instructional Designer (ID) Sunbelt’s Instructional Designer is equipped for success to deliver training content that meets our customers’ needs. The role involves all phases of course development, from curriculum design to media production and LMS testing, while ensuring project timelines are met and subject‑matter experts are engaged. Responsibilities Create training content using curriculum design and instructional practices. Determine the best learning methodology and write content design. Produce media, develop learning materials, and test course functionality in the LMS. Adhere to project timelines and maintain relationships with subject‑matter experts. Engage in internal course reviews for peers and provide team support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3 years of instructional design experience in a corporate environment. Two years’ experience using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Rise. Experience with Adobe Creative products and Vyond preferred. Knowledge of adult learning principles and ADDIE, SAM, or other rapid design methodologies. Ability to design learning across multiple modalities (ILT, virtual ILT, eLearning, job aids, etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Editing skills and knowledge of grammar/punctuation. Physical Demands The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required. Salary Base Pay Range: $64,790.00 - 89,086.80. Starting rate of pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
