Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a critical role in our clinical team. Your responsibilities will include: \n \n Conducting initial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations of clients. \n Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on client needs. \n Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, addressing issues such as communication difficulties, conflicts among family members, and mental health challenges. \n Working individually with each family member to give them a voice and create a supportive environment for healing. \n Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to various familial issues, including grief and loss, blended families, and adjustments to separation and divorce. \n Maintaining accurate, timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. \n Participating in regular case reviews and team meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to client care. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n This position involves working effectively with diverse populations, ranging from children to adults. You will address a wide array of challenges, including: \n \n Alcohol and substance abuse \n Trauma and psychological abuse \n Family dynamics and conflicts, including mother/daughter relationships and sibling rivalries \n Adjustment issues related to separation, divorce, and blended family situations \n Medical and job-related stress \n Grief and loss \n Qualifications\n To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: \n \n A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Florida. \n A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, signifying a solid educational foundation in clinical skills. \n Preferred Experience\n Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Experience with teletherapy and a strong background in working with family systems will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits\n Uplands Counseling Center Associates offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000.
