Legal Counsel

The Legal Counsel will provide expert legal advice and support on a range of legal, corporate and compliance matters driving best practice and mitigating risks across the business. This hybrid role involves working closely with General Counsel, wider legal department and internal stakeholders in Miami. Client Details Leading global travel company based in Miami, Florida. Description As Legal Counsel, this varied role is responsible for: Advise on legal, corporate regulatory and compliance matters. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and other legal documents. Collaborate with internal teams to manage legal risks and ensure alignment with company goals. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the business. Provide training and guidance to staff on legal best practices. Support corporate governance and policy development initiatives. Maintain organized records and ensure proper documentation of legal matters. Work closely with outside counsel as required. Profile The successful Legal Counsel should have: A JD or LLM law degree and admission to practice law in the United States. Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis. Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in the travel, retail or other customer-centric industry. Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with global teams. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address legal challenges. Based in Miami and able to work from the Miami office on a hybrid basis. Interest in travel and open to traveling to the organization's other offices globally. Work permit/ eligible to work in the US now and in the future without requiring sponsorship.
