Certified Medical Assistant North Float

Job Summary As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well‑being through direct support and seamless coordination. Responsibilities Serves as a float pool resource to various clinics within designated local region. Performs routine patient care responsibilities such as taking vital signs, venipuncture (blood draws), collecting specimens, EKGs/ECGs, and POCTs. Collects patient history, performs medication reconciliation and enters information in the electronic medical record. Notes the primary complaint/reason for patient’s visit. Sets up instruments and equipment for medical provider (MD, DO, PA NP). Assist with procedures as needed.
