Hair N' Now NYC is hiring experienced Stylists to join a demanding, high-volume salon floor on the Upper East Side. This role is built for professionals who can deliver speed, precision, and consistent quality under pressure.

Core Requirements:

• Experience: 3-7+ years of continuous, high-volume floor experience (Manhattan experience heavily preferred).
• Licensing: Active, unblemished New York State Cosmetology License.
• Precision Execution: Advanced mastery of wet/dry structural cutting under strict time limits.
• Color Efficiency: High-speed, flawless single-process roots, balayage, and complex highlights.
• Finishing Pace: Ultra-fast, high-end commercial blowouts and editorial finishing.

Performance Expectations:

• Volume Management: Ability to seamlessly command a fully packed, zero-gap daily book of 6-10 clients.
• Production Focus: Proven track record of consistently maximizing service tickets, add-ons, and retail revenue.
• Floor Control: Flawless on-time schedule discipline while proactively leveraging assistant support to maximize chair turnover.

Soft Skills & Demeanor:

• High-Expectation Stamina: Polished, unflappable client-facing demeanor tailored to a demanding, low-tolerance UES clientele.
• Decisive Communication: Ability to translate vague client descriptions into precise technical execution with absolute speed.

Compensation Structure:

• Performance Commission: Tiered 40%-55% commission scales determined directly by personal volume and demand.
• Shared Cost Model: Pro-rated backbar supply deductions built symmetrically into the tier splits.
• Additional Income: Immediate gratuities plus competitive commission on product sales.
