We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a general surgery setting. Responsibilities

- Assess and document patients' physical, psychological, and social conditions accurately.

- Ensure pre-authorizations and consent forms are obtained before therapies.

- Maintain timely and precise electronic medical records, including symptom management, lab results, treatment plans, and medication administration.

- Establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.

- Document nursing interventions and patient responses thoroughly.

- Manage work efficiently by planning and prioritizing tasks.

- Ensure accurate billing and assist with office procedures.

- Prepare and administer medications as directed, documenting any adverse effects.

- Perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, tympanograms, EKGs, and vision screenings.

- Make referrals to other providers and facilities as needed.

- Handle patient phone calls promptly and document relevant information.

- Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding.

- Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and replenish supplies.

- Assist with medication refill requests and triage patient calls.

- Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under provider supervision.

- May float to other departments as required.

Education & Experience

- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure as an RN or LPN authorized to work in the region.

- Two or more years of experience as an RN or LPN preferred.

- Proficiency with computer systems; experience with Epic EHR is a plus.

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.

- Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.

- Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
