Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join an ever-expanding team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures that assist in guiding treatment plans and providing peace of mind to those in your care.

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, thoroughly explaining each procedure with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate intimately with radiologists and referring physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and maintain ultrasound machines, promptly identifying and reporting any issues
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
