Our client is a well-established organization with more than 20 years of industry experience. The Financial Analyst will join the Accounting team and play an important role in supporting the organization’s financial health and strategic decision-making. This position is responsible for analyzing financial data, developing financial models, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and preparing reports that provide actionable insights to leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong financial analysis and modeling experience, advanced Excel skills, and experience with cost accounting and allocating expenses across multiple business segments. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial statements and financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and strategic planning. Assist with the preparation and ongoing monitoring of financial plans aligned with organizational objectives. Partner with Accounting and cross-functional business units to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information. Perform cost accounting and support the allocation of expenses across multiple business segments. Prepare financial reports and analyses to support leadership decision-making. Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables and macros, to streamline reporting and data analysis. Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to address business needs and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Support long‑term financial planning and initiatives focused on optimizing revenue and expenses. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional experience in financial analysis and financial modeling. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Experience with cost accounting and allocating expenses across multiple business segments. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial information. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification. Experience working with ERP systems and other financial software. Familiarity with data visualization tools and advanced analytics platforms.Previous experience within a U.S.-based corporate finance environment.
