Industrial Painter

Pay : $20-$22/hr (DOE)

Shift : Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM (OT as needed)

Location : Crest Hill, IL

Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Industrial Painter for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $20-$22/hr (DOE). Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities
- Apply coatings using brush, roller, conventional spray, or electrostatic guns - Prepare surfaces for coating, including masking, tape, and shielding - Measure and mix paint; monitor paint booth operations - Monitor and maintain a breathing air system during paint operations - Store, clean, and properly handle/ dispose of chemicals

Qualifications
- At least 6 months of painting experience
- Experience working with spray guns required
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ability to work in a union environment (apprenticeship with Local 701)
- Must pass background and safety regulations

Skills
- Spray gun and paint application techniques
- Surface preparation, paint mixing, and measuring
- Masking/taping and shielding for quality protection
- Electrostatic painting and paint booth operation
- Chemical handling and hazard control

• The position is a union position. The applicant hired for this position will start an apprenticeship with the Local 701 Automobile Mechanics Union. After the initial probationary period, the union offers excellent benefits including Premier Health Plans, 401k and training programs.
