Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Biological Researcher II to support biologics formulation development and laboratory operations within a pharmaceutical R&D environment. This hands-on role focuses on formulation preparation, analytical characterization, stability studies, and laboratory documentation support. The ideal candidate will have strong biologics/pharmaceutical laboratory experience and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research setting.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Biologics, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related scientific fields
• Biologics formulation development or analytical characterization
• Pharmaceutical or biologics laboratory environments
• Hands-on experience with common laboratory instruments and analytical techniques
• Strong documentation, data analysis, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within cross-functional teams
• Prior industry experience in biologics or pharmaceutical R&D preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare formulation buffers and protein drug product samples
• Execute formulation screening studies
• Perform routine analytical and characterization testing, including:
• Chromatographic methods
• Electrophoretic testing
• Biophysical characterization
• Support liquid and lyophilized biologic drug product testing
• Prepare, track, and manage stability study samples
• Coordinate analytical samples and organize laboratory data
• Support in-use and compatibility study activities
• Maintain accurate documentation in ELN systems following GMP/documentation practices
• Contribute to technical reports and data summaries
• Provide general laboratory support while adhering to EHS and laboratory safety standards
