Craftsmen Contractors are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Punch Carpenter to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing final carpentry work on commercial construction projects, ensuring all finishes and installations meet quality standards before project completion.
Responsibilities
- Install and adjust fixtures, hardware, shelving, trim, and finish carpentry items.
- Complete punch list items identified during final project walkthroughs.
- Repair minor drywall damage, touch up finishes, and perform general carpentry repairs.
- Install doors, baseboards, cabinets, and other finish components as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with project managers and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in finish carpentry or punch-out work preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience installing fixtures, hardware, and finish materials.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders when required.
