Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Full-Time | Northglenn ↔ Brighton (Traveling Role) | [Your Practice Name], Colorado
Hey smile squad! Bring your energy to our pediatric and ortho practice as a Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental Assistant. This fun traveling gig hops between Northglenn and Brighton (reliable car needed, ~20-30 min drive) — help kids rock their grins through baby teeth fixes and braces magic!
Note: Traveling position between Northglenn and Brighton offices — flexibility is key!
Chairside SuperstarsSterilize like a pro (CDC/OSHA approved); set up kid-friendly trays and ortho bonding stations fast.
Capture digital x-rays, photos, impressions for perfect peds/ortho records.
Team up chairside: pass tools for fillings, brackets, sealants; handle suction, materials, and expanded duties (polish, ligatures if certified).
Kid & Family VibesGreet everyone with genuine warmth — use "tell-show-do," toys, and calm to ease fears.
Monitor comfort during nitrous, track ortho progress; share post-op tips on braces care and diets.
Gather histories, present x-rays to docs, ace handoffs (G.A.P. style) for smooth flow.
Prevention & Education FunApply sealants, fluoride, SDF; demo floss tricks around wires via fun demos, texts/emails.
Teach eruption timelines, habit fixes, retainer rules to keep smiles sparkling.
Ortho & Flow MastersPrep bonds/adjusts, fix pokey wires; update charts, verify insurances, manage inventory.
Balance peds and ortho schedules; send reminders to boost follow-ups.
