Work Environment\nThis role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in how and where you work. Although you will interact with clients from the comfort of your home office, you will also have access to our outpatient office in Aurora for any in-person collaborations or client meetings. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Perform thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies. \n
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans that reflect the individual goals and preferences of clients. \n
- Provide therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and supportive counseling tailored to the maternal postpartum context. \n
- Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to enhance efficacy. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. \n
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community organizations to provide comprehensive care. \n
- Adhere to established ethical and professional guidelines to ensure safety and integrity in all client interactions. \n
Our client demographic primarily includes expecting and new mothers, along with their partners and families. This unique focus requires sensitivity, understanding, and specialized knowledge of maternal mental health issues, such as postpartum depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping these clients navigate their experiences, offering support and strategies to foster resilience and healing.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Must hold an active license as a mental health professional in Colorado, such as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD). \n
- A Bachelor’s or higher degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. \n
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a therapeutic role, specifically with a focus on maternal and postpartum mental health is preferred. \n
In addition to the required qualifications, experience working with diverse populations and employing various therapeutic modalities specific to maternal mental health will be considered advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and documentation software is also beneficial, facilitating efficient and effective service delivery in a remote setting.
