Radiologic Technologist

Overview Hartford Healthcare, a leading not-for-profit healthcare system in Connecticut, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment for patients across our network of hospitals and care facilities. Working closely with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team, you will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure images meet established quality standards while adhering to ALARA and all radiation safety protocols. Responsibilities Verify patient identity, review clinical history, explain procedures in a clear and compassionate manner, and monitor patients throughout exams to support safety and comfort. Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record. Maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms in a clean and ready state. Follow department workflows, infection prevention practices, and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate within an inclusive, team-based culture that emphasizes compassion, professionalism, and excellence in patient care. Support colleagues across departments as part of a dynamic clinical environment. Qualifications Detail-oriented technologist with ability to adapt to fast-paced hospital or outpatient settings. Comfortable working a rotating schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as patient needs require. Strong communication and patient-centered care skills. Ability to work with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team.
