Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to assist with daily shipping and receiving operations. This position will prepare shipments, verify orders, complete shipping documentation, update computer records, and communicate with warehouse staff and carriers. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has basic computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are accurate and properly packaged.
• Create shipping labels, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, carriers, and customers to ensure timely shipment of orders.
• Verify product quantities, shipping information, and addresses for accuracy.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments and assist with organizing inventory as needed.
• Enter and maintain shipment information in computer systems and keep accurate records.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized shipping area.

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping and inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle packages as required.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
