Hydraulic Field Service Technician - Channelview Texas
Responsibilities:
- Conducting service calls
- Inland and/or offshore majors
- Inland and/or offshore surveys
- Maintaining a high level of communication and service to our customers
- Responsible for equipment and consumables for the job and any items to complete the task(s) asked of them
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the technician's vehicle
- Responsible for helping keep the shop area clean
Project Management:
- Work with the Hydraulic Service Manager, Division Manager, and/or Office Coordinator on scheduling repair and re-man projects to ensure projects are completed on time
- Responsible for letting the Service Manager know if help is needed on projects to complete the repairs in the allotted time
Inventory and Recording:
- Responsible for ensuring all parts taken from inventory is written down, and all paperwork is turned into the Inventory Department
- Responsible for ensuring all parts not used on the job are returned to the Inventory Control Department
Qualifications
- Education (High School or GED Diploma)
- Practical experience
- TWIC Card
- Valid Driver's license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the marine service industry
- Good communication skills
