Immediate need for a talented Linux Admin. This is a 06 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid).

Job ID: 26-20331 Pay Range: $60 - $64/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• HM Notes-Patching, user request, providing shared access
• Monitoring
• Promotus and Grafana
• DR Support
• Patching firmware updates are required
• Virtual or physical servers
• Red Hat needed
• Maintaining documentation and on call support (daily rotations will be there)
• RHEL 8 & 9
• Ansible and scripting

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Red Hat, Linux, Prometheus, Grafana
• 7 years of enterprise Linux administration (specifically RHEL) experience.
• Strong hands-on experience managing and configuring RHEL workloads within VMware vSphere and cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux networking, multipathing, NFS, autofs, and connecting Linux hosts to SAN/NAS backends.
• Direct experience engineering and maintaining system configurations using Puppet and Ansible.
• Strong proficiency in Shell scripting and Ansible to automate routine administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery concepts.
• Operational experience working within ITIL frameworks (change management, incident management, ServiceNow).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across infrastructure silos
