Senior Product Designer

Your ImpactThe Senior Product Designer at DISCO takes a leadership role in elevating our products to the next level. You'll bring clarity to complex product challenges, shape thoughtful end-to-end experiences, and raise the quality bar across multiple product areas. You'll help define AI-empowered experiences that support better user decisions, strengthen trust, and improve the overall product experience. By leading design initiatives, mentoring team members, and conducting advanced user research, you'll drive actionable outcomes that directly impact our users and the product's success.What You'll DoConduct in-depth user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors, and actively communicate those learnings across the teamLeverage research insights to inform and validate design decisions, ensuring products truly resonate with usersCreate high-quality wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design visionStay on top of the latest industry trends, technologies, and design patternsMaintain a high bar for quality, usability, and attention to edge casesProvide design leadership and guidance to junior team members to ensure design excellence across projectsLead complex design projects from concept to deliveryDrive a culture of constant improvement and learning within the design teamCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on design strategy and visionBring structure to ambiguous problems, frame tradeoffs clearly, and champion a user-first approachAnticipate how design decisions impact related workflows, teams, and product areasContribute to patterns, shared practices, and design consistency that improve efficiency and coherence across the productPartner with cross-functional teams to design AI-empowered workflows and product experiences that help users take action, interpret system output, and stay in controlDefine thoughtful patterns for trust, transparency, and human oversight where intelligent capabilities are introducedWho You Are5-7+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of delivering successful user-centered design solutionsProficiency in Figma and complementary design tools (prototyping, wireframing, and collaboration platforms)Experienced working in a fast-paced, agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teamsDeep understanding of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and information architectureExcellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for typography, color, and layoutStrong ability to communicate and present design concepts, rationale, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and team membersAble to navigate ambiguity, frame complex workflows, and connect feature-level decisions to broader product and platform patternsFamiliar with using AI in the design workflow to support ideation, synthesis, prototyping, content generation, and explorationGood judgment about when AI can accelerate the design process and when deeper human evaluation, refinement, or validation is neededExperience with design systems and the ability to create and maintain design librariesBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceAt DISCO, we believe AI is a core enabler of how work gets done.
