Financial Manager

Department of Health and Human Services

Duties

Plan, develop, and supervise the execution of a comprehensive financial management program.

Audit vouchers for payment to vendors, consultants, employees, contract facilities, construction contractors, etc.

Collect, analyze, code, and enter accounting and financial data into the agency's financial management system to ensure accurate processing and reporting.

Coordinate budget activities with division and program managers to develop, prepare, and monitor the financial portions of the organization's operating budget.

Direct the preparation of operating manuals, circulars and charts for use in interpreting and implementing budgetary and fiscal policies, methods and procedures for management, subordinate staff and training purposes.
