Human Resources Generalist

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Contract: Temporary assignment, expected to run through early 2027 Compensation: $30-$35/hour We are seeking an experiencedHR Generalist for a temporary contract assignment supporting a manufacturing operation in Northeast Charlotte. This position will play a key role in payroll, recruiting, benefits, and onboarding. Key Responsibilities Process weekly and monthly payroll cycles for hourly and salaried employees Ensure payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant with company procedures Assist new hires with benefits enrollment and related questions Support recruiting efforts, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication Partner with staffing agencies to support temporary and hourly hiring needs Manage candidates and recruiting activity within the ATS Assist with onboarding and new-hire orientation Provide general HR support to employees and leadership as needed Qualifications 3+ years of HR and/or payroll experience Strong hands-on payroll experience is required UKG experience highly preferred Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees Recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, construction, or skilled-trades environments Experience working with staffing agencies and temporary employees is preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Ferretti Search
