Project ManagerAre you a pro at managing structural steel and miscellaneous metals construction projects? If so, we can't wait to hear from you!You must be authorized to work in the U.S. (citizen or green card) AND possess project management experience specific to our industry or related education.JP Ironworks, LLC, in collaboration with MarQ Steel Services, is excited to announce an opening for an experienced Project Manager at our Newark, Delaware OR Vineland, New Jersey locations. Join our project management team and lead both fabrication and erection operations with us!Key Responsibilities:Collaborating with detailers to track drawing progressProactively requesting and following up on necessary information from architects and engineersConducting field measurements for custom fabrication projectsCoordinating with other trades, suppliers, and subcontractorsScheduling production and delivery of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materialsOverseeing erection through our MarQ Steel Services partnershipResolving on-site issues with a focus on safetyManaging pricing and change order requests and negotiating with General Contractors, Construction Managers, or OwnersCollaborating with accounting on job cost estimates and financial mattersIssuing project close-out documentsBuilding and maintaining client relationships across NJ, PA, NY, DE, MD, and beyondManaging relationships with erection crews and subcontractorsTraveling to job sites (primarily day trips within our service region)Other duties as assigned by JP Ironworks managementRequired Qualifications:The perfect candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in miscellaneous metals within project management for a steel fabricator/erector, OR hold a college degree in architecture, construction management, or civil/structural engineering along with over 2 years of relevant experience.
