Healthcare Business Consultant

You Are A Healthcare Business Consultant who will partner with leading health plans and payer organizations to drive strategic transformation, operational efficiency, and innovative solutions. This role requires deep expertise in the U.S. healthcare payer landscape, including regulatory mandates, cost containment strategies, and digital transformation initiatives. The Opportunity Develop actionable roadmaps for cost containment and digital transformation. Anticipate emerging trends (e.g., virtual care, interoperability) and advise clients proactively. Apply advanced analytics to improve health equity and member experience. Translate data into actionable recommendations for executives. Manage multi-workstream projects with diverse stakeholders. Build trust and influence with payer executives and operational leaders. Qualifications At least 12 years in Healthcare Consulting. Worked with large health plan companies (UHG, Humana, Cigna, Aetna, etc.) in a consulting capacity from firms such as McKinsey, Deloitte, PwC. Extensive, up-to-date knowledge of payer business, healthcare industry, and ability to hold C-level discussions as a thought leader. Ability to produce engaging content and articulate key messages and points of view to the customer. Experience drafting winning proposals that demonstrate significant and positive impact to the customer’s business. Team player with experience working in a tiered environment. Familiarity with provider‑payer dynamics and cost management strategies. In‑depth knowledge of payer market trends, including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, and PBMs. Experience in management consulting within healthcare, preferably with payer clients. Proven ability to frame workstreams, develop analysis frameworks, and manage client relationships. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Ability to travel up to 50%. Compensation & Benefits Role Location: Remote. Compensation Range: $160,000 – 240,000 per year. Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
