Air Reserve Technician (ART) Squadron Superintendent

Duties

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air reserve Technician (ART) Squadron Superintendent for either Aircraft Generation (AGS), Component Repair (CRS), Equipment Maintenance (EMS) or Maintenance (MXS).

DUTY 1: Performs work planning responsibilities. Provides direct input or participates with engineering, production control, and other personnel during initial planning and developing of production schedules and furnishes technical advice on the suitability of existing equipment, available manpower, and appropriate work methods for short and long term projects.

DUTY 2: Performs work direction responsibilities. Assigns and explains work requirements and operating instructions to subordinate supervisors. Sets deadlines and establishes the sequence of work operations to be followed.

DUTY 3: Performs administrative responsibilities. Participates with subordinate supervisors/employees in the development of performance plans.
