Intensive Care Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care (ICU / ER / Med-Surg / Step-Down)

A fast-paced acute care facility is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across ICU, Emergency Department, Med-Surg, and Step-Down units.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to care for patients with varying acuity levels while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver direct patient care across diverse acute care settings
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Manage patients ranging from stable to critically ill
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and care teams
• Float between units based on patient care needs

Requirements

• Active RN license (compact or state-specific)
• BLS required | ACLS required (critical care/telemetry)
• Experience in acute care (ICU, ER, Med-Surg, or Step-Down)
• Strong telemetry and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (days or nights)
• Weekend and holiday requirements
• Flexible scheduling based on unit needs
