Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance ElectricianA well-established industrial manufacturing facility in the Cedar Park/North Austin area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support plant operations and production equipment. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone with strong industrial electrical maintenance experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.The ideal candidate will have journeyman-level electrical knowledge, experience working with 3-phase power and 480V systems, and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, plant equipment, and production machineryAssemble, install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, controls, and related equipmentDiagnose electrical issues using testing equipment, hand tools, and electrical schematicsTroubleshoot and repair 3-phase power systems, transformers, PLCs, motor controls, and related componentsConnect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, panels, and other electrical systemsInspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, code concerns, and needed repairsPerform continuity and safety testing using voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and multimetersComplete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in a timely and professional mannerFollow all required safety procedures and comply with OSHA standardsQualificationsJourneyman Electrician license or equivalent journeyman-level experience strongly preferredStrong industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environmentKnowledge of 480V systems, 3-phase power, PLC troubleshooting, and motor control circuitsMinimum 2+ years of related electrical maintenance experience preferredAbility to work safely, communicate clearly, and support production needsBilingual skills are a plus, but not requiredWhy This Role Stands OutThis is a strong opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working around production equipment, and being part of a stable operation with consistent hours and long-term potential.You should be proficient in:Electrical Troubleshooting SkillsElectrical InstallationElectrical TroubleshootingElectrical RepairElectrical / Electronic SystemsIndustrial Electrical ExperienceIndustrial Electrical SystemsElectrical Schematic Reading
