Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in Jensen Beach, Florida, hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a long-established, community-rooted clinic. The practice is known for its warm, personalized approach to care and strong client relationships and is seeking a compassionate and motivated veterinarian to provide high-quality medical services. The hospital primarily sees canine and feline patients, with exotics noted as optional.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for canine and feline patients. Clinical responsibilities include preventive and wellness care, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics, with a strong emphasis on client education and compassionate communication. The role involves partnering closely with experienced technicians and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes, participating in community-focused initiatives, and contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice as additional investment is made into the team, facility, and services. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital offers comprehensive veterinary services supported by a patient-first philosophy and low-stress handling techniques. Services include medical and surgical care, wellness and vaccination programs, anesthesia and patient monitoring, pain management and control, emergency and extended care, health screening tests, microchip pet identification, and nutritional counseling. The practice is equipped with digital imaging, digital dental radiology, an in-house laboratory and diagnostics, and laser therapy. The clinic culture is centered on quality medicine, supported autonomy, collaboration, and maintaining strong ties to the local community.

Team
The practice is currently supported by one DVM and a dedicated support team. The working environment emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and a shared commitment to delivering personalized, high-quality veterinary care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
